Diana Anaid takes time out from recording her fifth studio album to showcase new songs to fans along the east coast of Australia during April and May of 2012.
With her 18 year-old son Stone finished High School, Diana has returned to her nomadic, gypsy roots; staying up ‘till all hours to create her mesmerising tunes, and preparing for a year of extended touring, visiting favourite haunts in Australia, USA and Canada.
Nominated for 5 ARIA Awards, Diana is an Australian artist who’s seen her talent embraced by Radio, Television, Magazines and Newspapers, both locally and internationally since 1997.
Diana’s organic and honest approach to song-writing has garnered a loyal fan base as well as critical success for her albums including 2004’s Beautiful Obscene, which crossed Diana into the mainstream and saw her first international hit Last Thing securing festivals at home including Big Day Out and the Falls festival.
Recognised by her peers with an invitation to feature and perform in 2011’s Rock Chicks Expo at the Melbourne Arts Centre, Diana has become an iconic figure in the Australian music scene.
